PROJECT DESCRIPTION: White Sands Condominiums is a 40-unit, 3-story townhouse community of four buildings,144,000square feet, on Pensacola Beach, Florida. Hurricane Ivan undercut three of the buildings requiring total demolition and reconstruction. McBride Construction was contracted to rebuild the three buildings. The architect, Bullock Tice Associates of Pensacola, designed buildings constructed of poured-in-place concrete on concrete pilings. McBride Construction provided turnkey services, from site work to roofing and all mechanical, electrical and plumbing. In addition, McBride completed the interior build out of 17 of the 30 units.
